Ignatian Spirituality

Ignatian prayer is imaginativereflective, and personalSt. Ignatius of Loyola encouraged people to develop an intimate relationship with a God who loves them and desires the best for them. Ignatius of Loyola trusted human desires. He believed that our deepest desire is to return God’s love. Ignatius Loyola also trusted feelings. He believed that feelings of joy and sorrow, peace and distress, were important indicators of the path toward fruitful decisions and deeper union with God.

Christian Life Community (CLC)

What is your deepest desire? What does God want for you in your life?
Are you interested in deepening your relationship with God, learning how to find God in all things and better understanding how God is working in your life?

We are the Christian Life Community (CLC), a world-wide lay community rooted in Ignatian spirituality—a unique method of prayer and faith formation developed by St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits). Our goal is to help everyone better understand their deepest desire and to develop the tools to discern how God is working in your life. At each meeting, we engage in faith sharing and explore various aspects of Ignatian spirituality.
