A Thanksgiving meal provides great food and a “home away from home”.

Hospitality is one of the most important elements in making people feel welcome, especially those who are away from home. A common way to reach out to people in this way is by sharing a meal, or snack together. After all, throughout the New Testament, Jesus Himself was either eating a meal, leaving a banquet, or on the way to one.

After mass each Sunday, the community gathers over coffee, sweets, and other delicious treats
