April 3, 2018: Ordination of Adam Hincks in Rome
Adam Hincks, a Jesuit scholastic was ordained as a deacon in Rome on Easter Tuesday, April 3. Adam was a member of St. Mark’s Parish from 2013 to 2015 when he had a postdoctoral fellowship here at UBC with the Experimental Cosmology Group.
Ordination of John O’Brien: With joy and gratitude in God’s grace the Jesuits in English Canada celebrated the ordination to the priesthood of John D. O’Brien.
Matthew 13:32 – “Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants…”. Fr. O’Brien speaks about his own path to discovering his Faith, which started as the smallest of seeds, a tiny flame and took hold in his life, and continued to grow. Listen to his homily here…
