"Longing for the Lord": Easter Season (Hybrid) Retreat

May 24, 9 am - 12 pm,
St. Mark's Parish and Via Zoom

Mary Magdalene’s longing for the Lord propelled her to become the first apostle. How can our longing transform us this Easter season? Sliding scale registration fees. Please indicate if you will participate in-person or via Zoom, and if you need childcare. Retreat open to adults and university students.

Talk for young adults

This talk took place on Sunday, March 2. St. Mark’s Parish

with Fr. Andrew Laguna, SJ and Fr. Edmund Lo, SJ.

Fr. Edmund and Fr. Andrew shared some of the wisdom of St. Ignatius of Loyola regarding how to become more aware of God’s will for one’s life, a process known as discernment. This knowledge is a gift to the Church and is especially helpful for young people making life decisions like careers, marriage, religious vocation, etc. .

Catherine Kelly, Director of Spiritual Formation at St. Mark’s Parish – UBC, Vancouver, Canada welcomes Jesuit Fathers Andrew Laguna and Edmund Lo to teach us about discernment using the spiritual tools of St. Ignatius of Loyola. Listen to the talk here:
